Apple Hollow Lane

Go outside. Stay out until the streetlights come on.

Apple Hollow Lane is a narrative exploration game about childhood freedom, neighborhood mysteries, and the strange little worlds kids build when adults are not paying attention.

You play as different kids living along the same street, each with their own way of moving through the neighborhood. You can wander, experiment, talk to people, investigate rumors, get into trouble, discover hidden places, and watch the world change around you over time.

What it’s about

  • Exploring a living neighborhood from different kids’ perspectives

  • Point-and-click interaction with minimal interface getting in the way

  • Conversations, experiments, rumors, discoveries, and consequences

  • A world that changes as time passes, including school days, weather, seasons, and neighborhood events

  • Childhood freedom as the central fantasy: being turned loose outside and seeing what you find

Who it’s for

People who miss the feeling of being a kid with nowhere specific to be, a whole afternoon ahead of them, and the sense that something interesting might be happening just around the corner.
